Dive at WOODHOUSE REEF (Tiran Strait)
Woodhouse Reef is a narrow and over a kilometer-long reef located between Jackson Reef and Thomas Reef.
Since there is no shelter for boats (and no fixed anchorage), it is only possible to do drift dives here when weather conditions permit.
The most fascinating part of the reef is the northern half of the eastern slope, where at 30 meters depth, a canyon opens up, running parallel to the major axis of the reef.
A beautiful red anemone marks the end of the canyon and the beginning of a sandy plateau that widens towards the north, leading to the saddle connecting to Jackson Reef.
Where there is current, there is life, and here it certainly thrives.
